15 Bowmont Gardens, Glasgow

11 Bowmont Gardens in Glasgow is a terrace of five houses built between 1875 and 1880, featuring an astylar design. Four of the houses have two bays, while No 15 has three bays. On the right side, a full-height canted window extends from the basement, and there is a panel frieze above the first floor, with a blocking course over the second course. On the left, steps extend over the basement leading to tripartite doorpieces that are framed with an architrave and cornice, accompanied by glazed sidelights. Above the door, there is a single-light window with an architrave and consoled cornice, and a lugged architraved window is located on the second floor. The sash windows feature plate glass glazing, and there is a continuous cornice above the glass. Additionally, there is a continuous cornice over the ground and first floors, a string-course at the eaves, and a bracketted cornice. The houses have axial stacks, with a wall-head stack on No 11 dated 1876. The rear elevation is constructed of stugged ashlar. There are cast-iron railings leading to the steps and basement, although some are damaged.
