2 Redlands Terrace, Great Western Road, Glasgow

4 Redlands Terrace, located on Great Western Road in Glasgow, is a two-storey terrace building designed by J McKellar and George Gunn between 1924 and 1925. The terrace is constructed from asymmetrical cream sandstone coursers with ashlar dressings and features canted bays. The principal windows throughout have three-pane upper sashes, except for the front of the bays, which have four-pane windows. The bays and gables are topped with ogee copes, while the stretches between them boast prominent wooden dentilled cornices with ogee gutters. The chimney stacks on the transverse walls also have ogee moulded copes.

The doorways are characterized by raised margins, cavetto moulded reveals, and joggled lintels with keystones. The doors are single-panelled and feature leaded glass fanlights. Flanking the doors are narrow sash and case windows with leaded glass. The east gable is plain, while the west gable exhibits a simple Arts and Crafts style, complete with a projecting porch that has a large bipartite stair window above, flanking single windows, and a quadripartite attic window with flanking chimney stacks treated as a corbelled feature.
