35, 37, 39 Broomhill Drive is a three-storey and attic tenement building constructed around 1860 in the style of Charles Wilson. The exterior features polished ashlar stone, with the ground floor channelled. It has sash and case windows throughout, with the first-floor windows set in flat bays that have shell heads and sculpted consoles supporting a continuous cornice.

The elevation facing Broomhill Drive consists of 40 bays that step in slope. The first, eighth, thirteenth, eighteenth, twenty-third, twenty-eighth, thirty-third, and fortieth bays from the north are canted and have battered plinths. The ground floor windows have a pseudo pilastraded design, with a cornice band at the ground floor and a cill band at the first floor, topped by a continuous main dentil cornice. The outer bays feature mansard roofs with tripartite, segmentally pedimented dormers, while low tripartite dormers with swept roofs are located over Nos 23-27 and No 41.

The elevation facing Broomhill Avenue mirrors the Broomhill Drive elevation but consists of 26 bays and includes a turret at the northern end. The eighth, twelfth, seventeenth, twenty-first, and twenty-sixth bays are canted. There is a full-height bowed bay with a segmentally pedimented dormer over the first bay from the north. The property is enclosed by coped boundary walls and features battered obelisk gatepiers.
