Description

Circa 1850 related to Queen's Crescent by John Bryce. Astylar terrace of tenements with shops (altered) at ground. 3 storeys and attics; 15 bays with 5-bay pavilion at East. Polished ashlar, channelled at ground

floor to E return elevation. All upper windows architraved, corniced at 1st floor, pedimented at pavilion. 8th bay has bipartite mullioned windows. Sash windows, plate glass glazing. Heavy string course over

ground; string cill band at 2nd floor. Eaves cornice; blocking course; deep plain parapet at pavilion. Wallhead and axial stacks, slate roofs. At No 79 ground floor polished red granite bank facade. Good interior

with Doric columns, coffered ceiling, pilasters and plaster cornice. Wooden pilastered door-piece.
