14 Grosvenor Crescent, Glasgow

12 Grosvenor Crescent in Glasgow is a terrace of 13 houses built around 1881. The terrace features two storeys, attics, and a basement, constructed from polished ashlar stone, with some areas painted or cleaned, and droved stone at the basement level.

On the left side, there are steps that extend over the basement leading to wide double-leaf doors. The vestibule door is tripartite, with glazed side panels and fanlights. To the right at the first floor, there is a three-light bow oriel window; otherwise, all windows are single-light sashes with plate glass glazing. A cornice above the ground floor serves as a cill band for the first-floor windows.

The building has an eaves cornice and a parapet featuring cast-iron balustrading with ashlar die-piers. Round-headed tunnel dormers with leaded roofs are present, along with axial stacks and slate roofs. There are good cast-iron railings surrounding some steps and gardens, although some modern railings have also been added. Notably, there is a good leaded glass door at No 4.
