11 Ruskin Terrace, Glasgow

13 Ruskin Terrace in Glasgow is a classical terraced house built around 1855-1858. It is two stories tall with a basement and features three bays. The building has a three-story, five-bay west pavilion. The exterior is finished in polished ashlar, with the basement being droved. It has sash and case windows set within architraves. Each of the left entries, located at the top of steps, oversails the basement area. The entrance is highlighted by a Corinthian pilastered doorpiece topped with a modillion cornice. There is a band course at the ground floor level, and to the right of each entry, there are two windows in lugged architraves above a cill band. The first floor has a cill band and features corniced, lugged architraved windows with cast-iron balconies for numbers 10 to 17. The main cornice is complemented by a die parapet adorned with urns on the lower section. The return to Ruskin Place shows 11 bays, with the first bay from the south being blind. There are simple close and main door entries, along with two corniced wallhead stacks that are panelled on the north side.
