6 Burnbank Gardens, Glasgow

8 Burnbank Gardens in Glasgow is a terrace building dating from around 1860, featuring Moorish architectural details. It stands two storeys high with a basement and has a two-bay elevation for each house. The exterior is finished in polished ashlar, with some areas painted. All openings are arched, and the houses have full-height canted bay windows. On the first floor, the bay windows are divided by columns that support an incised archivolt. There are single windows on the first floor with engaged column reveals and incised archivolts. The windows are sash with plate-glass glazing.

Access is via wide flights of steps that have a pierced parapet, leading down to archivolted doorways. These doorways feature narrow glazed sidelights and a glazed arch above the door. A continuous string course runs between the floors, topped by a main mutule cornice. Decorative cast iron railings enclose the basement, complemented by columnar ashlar gatepiers.
