3 Seton Terrace, Glasgow

7 Seton Terrace in Glasgow is a two-storey terrace building, dating from the 1860s, with three storeys at the rear. It consists of twelve two-bay houses that are symmetrically arranged, featuring a slightly taller and shallow advanced centre section. The front elevation is made of polished ashlar, while some houses have been painted or cleaned. Number 4 is dry dashed and painted. The rear elevation is constructed from rubble sandstone, with some houses rendered. Each house has a single window entrance bay and tripartite windows in the second bays. There are consoled balconies above the doors, with original ironwork preserved except for Nos 3, 7, 8, and 9. Most of the houses retain plate glass sashes, some of which have stained glass in the upper panes. A consoled eaves cornice is present, along with stacks located at the roof ridge and near the eaves. While all roofs were originally slated, some have since been tiled. The houses have small front gardens to the north, featuring low boundary coping and square gatepiers with pyramidal tops. The back gardens to the south are on lower ground, with high stepped ashlar boundary walls at the far east and west of the terrace boundary, and a tall coped brick wall facing the rear laneway.
