1 Hamilton Drive, Glasgow

7 Hamilton Drive in Glasgow is a long terrace of 13 houses built between 1857 and 1859 by Robert Crawford. Each house is two stories high with a basement and features two wide bays, along with three-story end pavilions that contain two additional two-bay houses. The exterior is finished in polished ashlar, with some areas painted. The houses have sash and case windows set in architraves, primarily with four-pane glazing. Each entry is accessed by steps and features a corniced die and cast-iron parapets. The entrances are highlighted by console corniced details, shouldered pilasters, and fanlights. A band course runs at ground floor level, and to the left of each entry, there are tripartite windows with panelled aprons. The first floor includes a cill band, a tripartite bay to the left, and console corniced windows. The terrace is topped with a cornice and a balustraded parapet on the lower section. The hipped roof is adorned with two 2-light, pedimented, pilaster-mullioned dormers at No. 33, and the roofs are covered in slate. The property also features corniced gatepiers.
