Description
Bayne's House, located on High Street in Falkland, was built in 1752. This two-storey building features three windows and is constructed from rubble with patches of blue whinstone. It has a plain architrave, a pulvinated frieze, and a cornice above the door. The house also has a moulded eaves course and a crowstepped gable roof that is slated. Attached to it is Embo, a single-storey and attic structure with a crowstepped gable facing the street, positioned at right angles to Bayne's House. Embo includes a late piended porch in the angle.
