75 South Row, Charlestown

73 South Row in Charlestown is a row of six single-storey cottages built in the later 18th century. The cottages are symmetrical, with three bays each, and are constructed from rendered sandstone.

The north elevation features a symmetrical arrangement with three bays, including a central door flanked by windows. The east elevation has a door to the left and a window in the rear extension. The south elevation includes rear extensions, while the west elevation presents a plain gable wall.

The cottages predominantly have 2-pane sash and case windows. The door to No. 76 is boarded and has a single-pane fanlight, while replacement doors are found elsewhere. The cottages have a continuous piended roof covered with clay pantiles, which are glazed black on Nos. 76, 77, and 78, along with a slated easing course and five ridge stacks. The interiors were not seen during the last inspection in 2000.
