Description

Friar's Court, located at 9 Marketgate in Crail, is a building dated 1686, as indicated by the inscription on the door lintel. It is a three-storey structure with four windows, although some alterations have been made since 1686. The building is constructed from rubble with margins and features crow-stepped gables. At the back, there is a stair projection. The building underwent renovation in 1938, during which the wallhead chimney was unfortunately reduced in height.
