Description

61 Hall Row in Charlestown is a row of two single-storey, four-bay cottages built in the later 18th century. The cottages are constructed from rendered sandstone.

On the northwest elevation, the principal facade features a door flanked by windows, with an additional window to the right. The northeast elevation has a plain gable, while the southeast elevation shows rear extensions. The west elevation also has a plain gable.

The cottages have four-pane sash and case windows. The roof of No 60 is pitched, while No 61 has a piended roof, both covered with replacement red clay pantiles and a slated easing course. There are three ridge stacks. The interiors were not seen during the last inspection in 2000.
