Description

64 Tay Street in Newport-On-Tay is a fine Italianate building dating from around 1840. It features a symmetrical design with a single-storey, four-window center flanked by two-storey L-plan wings. Each wing has single-storey projections at the angle of the L, which include blind-headed Venetian windows. The building is constructed of ashlar stone and showcases very skillful detailing, along with broad-eaved roofs. There is a porch at number 64, while the porch at number 60 has been removed. The roof is slated.
