Description
15 West Shore in St Monance is an 18th-century building comprising two properties. Number 14 is a two-storey and attic structure with three bays, featuring a crow-stepped gable and a corniced doorway. It is constructed of rubble with later render and has ashlar dressings, topped with a grey slate roof and end stacks.
Number 15, located to the rear of Number 14, is also a two-storey and attic cottage with three bays. It has a timber door with a box fanlight and a cat-slide dormer above on the principal elevation facing west. The property includes a pantiled lean-to outshot on the north gable and a single-storey addition on the south gable that adjoins Number 14.
Both buildings predominantly feature 12-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows, with red pantiles and ashlar skews, as well as shouldered end stacks.
