Description

7 The Gyles in Pittenweem is a sea captain's house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is a three-storey building with a garret, featuring irregular window arrangements. The exterior is finished with colour washed harl and painted margins, topped with a pantiled roof that has crowstepped dormer heads. The house is built on a rock foundation facing the sea.
