Description
These stables date from the late 18th century and form a shallow U-shaped front with a six-window central section. The stables are two storeys high, with a low first floor. They feature arched doorways with keyblocks. The walls are harled, with prominent quoins, and the roofs are low-pitched and slate-covered. Later single-storey and loft extensions have been added to the wings, also featuring keyblocked semi-elliptical arches. A loft dovecot is incorporated into the structure. A rubble-built garden wall is attached, and includes bricklined sections.
