Description

The Dovecot at Kenlygreen is a structure from the 17th century, possibly built using materials from the nearby ruins of the Palace of Inchmartrick. It has a rectangular shape measuring 24 and a half feet by 17 feet. The roof features a double pitch, with pantiles on the south side and slates on the north side, along with a louvre entrance for pigeons. The building includes a rat course and ball finials at the tops of the gables.
