Description
The Railway Bridge over the River Leven in Leslie was designed by Thomas Bouch and completed in 1861. This curved railway viaduct features 14 segmental arches. The spandrels are made of squared and snecked rubble, while the arches are constructed with brick voussoirs. The piers are battered and made of rusticated ashlar blocks. Atop the bridge is a low flat-coped parapet that includes inset cast-iron railings.
