Description
67 South Row in Charlestown is a row of six single-storey, three-bay cottages built in the later 18th century. The cottages are made of rendered sandstone and have a symmetrical design.
The north elevation features three symmetrical bays, each with a central door and flanking windows. The east elevation has a plain gable with a window to the left in a rear extension. The south elevation includes some contemporary rear extensions, while the west elevation also has a plain gable.
Most of the windows are four-pane timber sash and case, although there are some replacement windows. The door to Nos 70 and 71 is timber boarded with a two-pane fanlight, while other doors have been replaced. The cottages have a continuous piended roof covered with clay pantiles, which are glazed black on Nos 67, 69, 70, and 71, with a slated easing course. There is a gable end stack for No 72 and five ridge stacks.
The interiors were not seen as of 2000.
