Description

The Schoolmaster's House at Ceres Academy, built in 1850 by Hugh Birrell, is a two-storey building located on the northwest side facing St Andrew's Road. The entrance front features three windows and is constructed from stugged ashlar stone. It has a plain doorpiece with a cornice and a cavetto splay, and the windows have lying panes. The roof is slated.
