Description

The Cottage on School Row in Brunton is a single-storey building that was originally part of a school. It is constructed from whin rubble with sandstone dressings and has a slated roof. The eastern front features a symmetrical design with twin gables, adorned with a burning bush and panels dated 1846. The central section of the cottage is made of rubble and slate, with a gable projection on the west side. The southern part of the cottage has a lower level that includes two windows and a central door, all made from coursed whin stone with sandstone dressings, dating to around 1850.
