Description
The Vennel Wall on Port Street in Inverkeithing is a structure from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is a high wall built of random rubble, stretching approximately 84 metres along the west side of Port Street. The wall includes former window and door openings that have been blocked, which once provided access to former rigs. At the base of the wall, boulders are visible. In the later 19th century, the wall was capped to the west, serving as the northern boundary wall for The Priory located at 29 Townhall Street.
