Description

This mid-19th century farm steading features a U-shaped layout with two storeys and a single storey, topped with a piend roof and pantiles. The structure is built from sandstone rubble, accented by weathered ashlar quoins, and includes segmental-headed cart arches with voussoirs.

On the west elevation, there is a two-storey, four-bay cartshed on the left, which has a cart arch and sliding timber doors at the centre on the ground floor, flanked by windows. The first floor has four evenly spaced windows. The central courtyard is bordered by a single storey range on the right, which has a prominent shouldered wallhead stack.

The south elevation of the courtyard features two-storey ranges. There is a cart arch with a sliding timber door on the outer left at ground level, along with two windows on the first floor. The centre and right sections are slightly lower stable and hayloft ranges, each with a central door and flanking windows below hayloft openings that break the eaves into piended dormerheads, accompanied by small flanking openings. The outer right bay has a window on the ground floor and a small opening above. The interiors retain cast-iron columns and looseboxes.

The north elevation shows a single storey range, with a bothy on the outer right and an open range supported by four cast-iron columns to the left, covered with a corrugated roof.

On the west elevation, there is a covered cattle court with a corrugated roof, featuring a broad opening with timber doors. The north elevation includes a two-storey cartshed on the right, which has two doors on the ground floor, a window to the left, and a broad opening to the right on the first floor. To the left, there is a corrugated range with two broad openings, along with two piended pantiled ranges (cattle courts) on the outer left.

The building primarily features 9-pane glazing with shuttered low thirds, and most doors are boarded timber. The clay pantiles have slate easing courses at the eaves, unless otherwise noted. Cast-iron downpipes are fitted with decorative rainwater hoppers.
