Description

This is a small, circular dovecot, built in the later 18th century. It’s constructed of rubble with ashlar margins, a rat-course, and a cornice. A south-facing door provides access, above which are three flight holes. The bellcast slated roof has a slated lantern at its centre, topped with a ball finial. The bellcast dormer also features tiered flight holes. Timber nesting boxes are incorporated into the structure. The statutory address is Elie House Dovecote.
