Description
Kingarroch Cottage, formerly known as Ye Kingarrach Inn, dates from the later 18th century. The main section is a two-storey building with three windows, situated with its ground floor below road level and featuring a railed area. It is constructed from rubble that is whitewashed with painted margins, retains original glazing, and has a pantiled roof with slate skirting and ashlar chimneys.
To the north, there is a single-storey addition with a basement, which has an ashlar front and features two windows and a central door, topped with a slated roof. The southern cottage is a single-storey structure with a lower floor, showcasing two windows and a central door, along with one window and one door on the lower floor. There is also a garage outbuilding at the gable. The overall appearance of the cottage is picturesque.
