Description
The Hall of Caldwell is a 17th century house that stands two storeys high and is three bays wide. It features a harled string-course, and the doorway is adorned with a moulded arch and pilasters, flanked by arches. The roof has corbie-stepped gables and is slated. The hall on the first storey has been divided into two rooms. Extensive additions to the building began in 1905. The garden is enclosed by a rubble wall that includes an arched gateway dated 1664, and there is a braw-wall in the garden.
