Description

Henry and MacLennan, 1916. Single storey and attic, semi-detached houses with symmetrical 2-bay frontages, central gable of each pair breaking eaves; bipartites and small windows at ground, 2 single windows in gablehead at centres, porches recessed to each side under sweeping eaves, small-pane upper panels to doors, window by re-entrant angle. Single storey, contemporary Newsagent's shop linking Nos 16 and 17 around corner to Main road. Fruit shop and bakery in former, gabled garage adjoined to No 18. Glazing as above, Scottish slates to roof.
