Description
59 West Holmes Gardens in Musselburgh is a pair of terraces of single-storey and attic cottages, built in 1910 by William Constable. Each cottage has two bays and features red ashlar stone with brick on the return and rear elevations. The entrances consist of pairs of two-leaf panelled doors. The ground floor has bipartite windows and flank doors, while the gabled dormers include both one-light and two-light designs. The windows are fitted with plate-glass lower sashes, which were originally multi-pane in the upper sections. The roofs are covered with slate and topped with red ridge tiles.
