Description
West Parish Kirk and Tower, designed by architects Sydney Mitchell and Wilson in 1890, is a church and hall unit. The church features an aisled layout with a clerestory and a prominent traceried five-light window on the south side. The southeast tower includes a belfry stage with splayed angles and a single lancet window on each face, topped with a crenellated parapet and an octagonal turret. The hall has a south gable front with three square-headed trefoiled windows, with the center window being a two-light design. The building is constructed of snecked red sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings.
