29 Maxwell Avenue in Westerton, Bearsden, is a building designed by J A W Grant with Raymond Unwin as a consultant, constructed between 1913 and 1915. It showcases the English Arts & Crafts style and consists of a single storey with an attic, forming a symmetrical block of six houses. The exterior is harled, featuring timber-framed attic gables at both ends. The stacks are positioned below the apex and are harled at the outer gables, while the rest of the building displays exposed brickwork. The roofs are covered with slate, and the ground floor has tripartite windows with small-paned upper sashes that are mostly intact. The eaves line is varied, and the roof is swept with timber brackets over the inner doors. There are flat-roofed dormers, although some have undergone glazing alterations. The porch is recessed on either side.
