Description
25 North View in Westerton, Bearsden, is an English Arts & Crafts style building designed by J A W Grant with Raymond Unwin as a consultant, constructed between 1913 and 1915. This block of eight houses has a shallow curved shape and is stepped to follow the slope of the land. The exterior is harled and features two timber-framed wide gables. The building is two storeys high, with most upper windows breaking through the eaves. The porches are recessed on the flanks, supported by a single square column on the right side, while other doors are paired. The windows are arranged in two and three-light configurations, and there are timber-framed gabled bays. The chimney stacks are positioned below the apex of the roof, which is covered in slate.
