86 Main Street in Ochiltree is an attractive range of buildings featuring different colour washed finishes and painted stone dressings. The structures have stepped roofs and projecting stone steps. Number 90, known as "The House with the Green Shutters," has a tablet that marks it as the birthplace of George Douglas Brown.
