Description
134 and 136 High Street in Kirkcudbright are late 18th century buildings that were originally two terraced houses. They are two stories tall with an attic and feature four bays. The exterior is finished with painted harl and has painted margins, while the gable wall facing Corby Slap is made of painted rubble. Originally, there were two central doors, but one has been converted into a window. The outer bays contain windows, and there are three windows on the first floor. The buildings also have two later additions of three-light flat-roofed dormers. The structure has straight skews, end stacks, and a slate roof. At the back, there is an extensive rear wing.
