Description

This is a bronze statue of Alexander, created by Sir John Steell. The statue was modeled in 1832 and cast in 1883. It stands on a corniced, bow-ended ashlar plinth. The figure depicts a draped pedestrian figure of Alexander alongside a rearing, unharnessed horse.
