Description
25 Eyre Place in Edinburgh is a building designed by MacGibbon & Ross in 1870. It consists of three three-storey blocks that share a similar design. The ground floors are made of polished ashlar, while the upper sections are constructed from droved ashlar. The buildings at numbers 25 and 27 feature two windows between bipartite arrangements with central doors. In contrast, numbers 31 and 33 have tripartite windows instead of bipartites and previously housed ground floor shops. These shops have been filled in with matching tripartites made of cement render that has been lined out to resemble ashlar during recent internal renovations.
