Description
2-4 Henderson Row in Edinburgh is a building designed by William Burn between 1825 and 1826. It features a symmetrical block that consists of a three-storey and basement terrace, which is adorned with fluted Ionic column porches and a balustraded parapet. The end blocks, numbered 2, 4, and 28, are four-storey and basement flats. The ground floor is channelled throughout.
The corner at Perth Street is a later addition to the original design, following Burn's plan for Henderson Row but incorporating bay windows facing Perth Street. Additionally, there are later third-floor additions at numbers 16 to 26.
