Description
Kilmaglash Parish Church, built in 1787, is a Georgian-style oblong structure. The church features old graveslabs incorporated into its walls and has a thinly rendered exterior. It has a skew-gabled shape with a slated roof and a tiled crested ridge. The building includes band courses and has oculus and round-headed windows at each end. On the south side, there is a central pavilion topped with a belfry that has an ogee stone roof supported by square piers. Inside, the church boasts an open timber roof and a gallery that includes the Strachur loft. Notably, it also houses the grave slab of General John Campbell.
