Description

The South Western Bonded Warehouse at Port Ellen Distillery is a large complex built in the 19th century. The structure is made of rubble and is lime-washed, featuring slate and asbestos roofs. The distillery has pyramidal roofs, while the warehouses are single-storey buildings with gabled and piended roofs, with the western warehouse dating from around 1900. The offices are either one or two storeys tall and also have piended roofs.
