Description
Heatherhouse Cottages in Caol Ila, Islay, consist of a row of four single-storey cottages built from rubble and finished with lime wash. The cottages feature gabled roofs. The two outer cottages are designed in the Highland style typical of the mainland and have thatched roofs. The two inner cottages are traditional in style and have slate roofs.
