Description

Mill of Cruick is a single-storey building constructed from rubble, featuring a loft and a higher kiln with a vent at the northern end. It originally had a 10-foot undershot iron waterwheel from the late 19th century, which was situated in the open at the southern gable. The wheel recess is notably similar to that at Blackhall, which is dated 1736. There is a later addition to the south and repairs were made in 1876. The mill is currently disused and has been gutted, except for the wheel.
