Description

The Court of Offices at the House of Dun is an 18th-century building located on the western axis of the house, connected to it by curved screen walls. It features a fine ashlar symmetrical frontage with a central archway topped by a pediment and a later clock turret. This is flanked by two-storey sections with three windows, followed by lower two-storey sections that have semi-elliptical arches. The flanking screen walls contain single-storey buildings within the courtyard. There has been an unfortunate alteration to the northern section, which involved the addition of a sliding door. The building was designed by the architect William Adam Sr.
