Description

East Lodge at Drum Castle was built in 1892 and is designed in a scholarly style reminiscent of 16th and 17th century Scottish architecture. The building is a small two-storey structure made of coursed granite, featuring corbelled details and corner turrets. It has square gatepiers topped with ovoid finials, and its design is somewhat similar to Queen Mary's Bath House at Holyrood. An addition was made to the lodge by Walker & Duncan in 1954.
