Templefold

The Threshing Mill at Templefold is a mid-19th century building that features a single-storey and attic L-plan farmhouse. The steading is also from the mid-19th century and is constructed from coursed rubble with segmentally arched cart sheds. The former threshing mill is a single-storey structure with a large four-plane roof that originally had two storeys and an attic, with later lean-tos added on either side. It is built from rubble and has harl pointing, while the roof is now covered with asbestos. The mill includes a large overshot iron wheel, approximately 14 feet by 3 feet, with aluminium buckets, although the internal workings have been gutted.
