Description
The Lifeboat Station at Whitehills Harbour is an early 20th-century rectangular building designed to house lifeboats and includes a slipway. It is constructed from squared mixed granite with tooled ashlar dressings, and features a concrete slipway. The building has slightly projecting bay fronts on the gable facing Harbour Place, which includes a double-leaf plank door. Wide double-leaf plank sliding doors allow access from the slipway into the house.
On the west elevation, there is a lean-to porch located in the center, which is covered by a continuous catslide roof and flanked by a window on each side. Above the boat doors, there is a gable loft window. The roof is made of slate with a tiled ridge, and the concrete slipway includes a track that leads up to the boat doors.
