Description
This late 18th century to early 19th century warehouse is a four-storey, five-bay structure built against a slope, appearing as three storeys from Seafield Street, which is the southeast elevation. The building is constructed of rubble with tooled rubble dressings. The ground floor features three wide doorways, the largest located in the center, flanked by four alternate windows that open onto Low Shore. The first, second, and third floors have a fenestration pattern of three closely grouped central bays, with the outer windows positioned near the corners. The building has two-bay return gables.
On the Seafield Street elevation, the central ground floor entrance, which serves as the first floor entrance to Low Shore, is oversailed by a forestair. There is a blocked first floor doorway, which has been converted into a window, in the outer left bay, and five loft windows are grouped along the Low Shore elevation. Some louvres remain in the windows. The roof is covered with piended slate. Inside, it is reported that there are two staircases, but the building is currently empty and in poor condition.
