Description

South Parish Church, located on Seaforth Street in Fraserburgh, was designed by J. Bridgeford Pirie of Pirie & Clyne and built between 1878 and 1880. The church features a rogue Gothic style, with an ashlar front accented by red banding, a rose window, and a tall spire inspired by the work of architect Thomson. The main body of the church is constructed from pinned rubble. Inside the vestry, there is a tablet depicting Moses and the Commandments, which is reputed to have originated from the late 16th century Fraserburgh college chapel.
