Description

Mains of Collithie is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The main part of the house is two storeys high with three windows. It is harled and has coped chimneys. A later back wing with an attic has been added. There is also a single-storey back wing that incorporates a datestone from 1667 with the initials “DT” and an EC lintel, although this is not in its original position. A cheesepress is also present. A linked steading building contains a sculpture which has been re-set into the south wall.
