Description
Birse Manse, located on The Chanonry in Old Aberdeen, was designed by A. Marshall Mackenzie & Son (A.G.R. Mackenzie) in 1936. The building is two stories tall with an attic and is constructed from rubble. It features a seven-window south-facing front and includes a pedimented doorway. The structure incorporates materials from an earlier building, with a skewstone dating back to 1706.
