Description
The Militia Barracks, located at 341-9 King Street in Aberdeen, was designed by William Ramage and built between 1861 and 1863. This former barracks features a symmetrical, 2-storey baronial style with crowstepped gables and a rubble-built frontage. It includes 3-storey L-plan end sections with angle turrets. The central pend arch has been glazed.
